We have a full programme for you in August: visit the new exhibition, take a look at Van Goghs that are back in the museum and seize the opportunity to admire Vincent van Gogh's Terrace of a Café at Night while you still can. After this month, the work will embark on a year-long tour. |

A PRIVATE MOMENT WITH TERRACE OF A CAFÉ AT NIGHT |
Van Gogh's Terrace of a Café at Night is going on tour. From 1 September the painting will travel to Japan for a year, where it will be on display in Kobe, Fukushima and Tokyo. |
A unique opportunity for Van Gogh fans in Japan, but it also means a temporary farewell for us. So before the work leaves, you will have the chance to admire it in peace and quiet after closing time, with no other visitors around.
We are giving away a special private moment with the artwork, outside of opening hours, on Friday 29 August between 17.00 and 19.00 hrs. How can you participate? Leave a comment on this newsletter telling us what you hope the painting will inspire in visitors in Japan. The competition runs until 15 August. Winners will be notified personally. |

NOW ON DISPLAY BETWEEN WORLDS
|
In the new exhibition Between Worlds, artists reflect on life and death, the finite nature of human existence, what follows and what is left behind. The works on display include Future Sarcophagus by Candice Lin. |

VAN GOGH GALLERY FULL OF COLOUR |
The works in our Van Gogh Gallery are rotated regularly, so there is always something new to see. The Van Gogh paintings that were exhibited in Korea have recently returned to Otterlo. As a result, you can now view more colourful masterpieces from Van Gogh's French period, such as Landscape with Wheat Sheaves and Rising Moon, View of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and The Good Samaritan. |
